About The Opportunity The Communications and Engagement team, as part of the Department of Education's Infrastructure Services Division, deals with real people. In this permanent role, you will deliver accurate proactive and reactive communications, take a lead function in our team, identify key and contentious issues, work within tight timeframes and with multiple stakeholders to promote the critical work of the division. About You You have the ability to obtain and maintain the confidence and support of internal and external stakeholders and peers by ensuring the delivery of professional, contemporary, accurate and responsive communications and stakeholder engagement strategy and recommendations. You are effective working in a high‑pressure environment, under tight deadlines and with limited resources. You are comfortable providing internal consultancy and communications advice to executive members and teams to ensure the consistency of key messages are delivered in a format, style and tone appropriate to the situation and audience. You are experienced in developing corporate communications and engagement strategies to enhance and protect the reputation of the Department of Education and the Infrastructure Services Division with stakeholders and the public.
