The opportunity Due to ongoing growth and exciting new projects, we are seeking Junior Developers to join our Technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on our flagship SuperMate platform, mainly in backend services and APIs. You’ll be supported by experienced developers and a Development Team Lead. As you grow you’ll get exposure to other parts of the stack, including C# and Angular. Our purpose is “Simplifying SMSF, so more Australians can control their super ”. As a Junior Developer, you will play a key role in delivering this purpose by building and maintaining robust, scalable, and user‑friendly software solutions. You’ll collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other developers in an Agile Scrum environment, ensuring quality practices and standards are always met. What you’ll do Work on small to medium development tasks from the backlog Help support and improve our integration services and APIs Fix bugs and contribute to production support Write clear, maintainable code and learn our standards Add unit or integration tests for your work Take part in code reviews and Agile ceremonies Learn our CI/CD and release process Your experience and background We’re open to grads or early‑career devs. You don’t need to tick every box. Essential A degree/diploma in software engineering, computer science, IT, or similar (or equivalent experience) Solid programming fundamentals (any language) Interest in backend systems, APIs, and data flows Willingness to learn our core backend platform and tools Basic Git/version control familiarity Good communication and a habit of asking questions early Nice to have Exposure to enterprise backend platforms (Progress OpenEdge / ABL or similar) Some C#, Angular, or web app experience Familiarity with SQL and/or CI/CD concepts Internship or project work in SaaS or integration environments Our values Service: We serve with integrity, humility, and transparency.
