Direct message the job poster from Maxima Private Role Overview As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of high-net-worth individuals and family offices clients to deliver exceptional accounting, tax compliance, and tax advisory services. This role requires strong accounting and taxation technical expertise, client relationship management skills, and the ability to lead a team to ensure timely and accurate service delivery. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management - Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients, ensuring exceptional service and responsiveness. Develop deep understanding of client needs, goals, and priorities to deliver tailored solutions. Accounting & Tax Compliance Delivery - Oversee preparation and review of financial statements, tax returns (individual, trust, company), and other compliance obligations. Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements. Advisory & Planning - Provide proactive advice on tax planning, wealth structuring, and succession strategies. Collaborate with internal and external specialists to deliver integrated solutions. Team Workflow & Development - Supervise and mentor junior team members, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Manage workflow and allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines. Lead, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous development. Drive training initiatives to enhance team capabilities in accounting and tax compliance. Qualifications Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or related field. Currently in manager position or equivalent. Minimum 8-10 years in accounting and tax within a professional services firm; tax advisory experience with family office or private clients preferred. Strong experience in tax compliance, advisory work, and client portfolio management in public accounting or professional services environment. Strong tax technical experience, tax compliance and tax advisory to private clients. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-marking abilities. Excellent communication and relationship management. Proficiency in accounting software and Office 365; familiarity with cloud-based platforms.
