About the Role As a Customer Service Officer, you’ll be the first point of contact for our community, delivering timely, professional and empathetic service. Responding to customer enquiries across multiple channels and resolving Level 1 requests. Triaging and referring Level 2 enquiries to the appropriate technical officers. Managing complaints in line with City policies and lodging service requests. Supporting reception, visitor and contractor management, and maintaining a welcoming front-of-house environment. Ensuring compliance when processing permits, applications and related documentation. Performing cashiering, auditing, banking, and end‑of‑day balancing. Identifying service improvements and contributing to team goals. About You Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to build positive relationships. Empathy, active listening and a customer‑focused approach. Confidence managing high‑volume or high‑pressure situations professionally. Effective time management and the ability to juggle competing priorities. A collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement. The ability to plan, prioritise and manage your workload independently.
