About us: The Aged Care, Clinical and Rehabilitation Services comprises of Eventide Home, North Rockhampton Nursing Centre, Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT), Transition Care Program (TCP), and the Rehabilitation Unit. About the role: The Clinical Facilitator is an experienced clinician responsible for supporting, orienting, and mentoring graduate nurses, students, and both new and existing staff. This role provides clinical facilitation at the point of care, helping clinicians develop skills and advance their practice. Its key objective is to foster the ongoing professional growth of nurses in alignment with the life‑long learning framework. The position also contributes to meeting staff training requirements by planning, delivering, and evaluating learning opportunities in collaboration with the Nurse Educator (Aged Care, Clinical and Rehabilitation Services). About you: A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent is a mandatory qualification for this position as well as current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a current annual practising certificate. A postgraduate qualification gerontological nursing and successful completion of the preceptor program would be well regarded.
