Base pay range A$155,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Synchro Role: Software Implementation/Integration Consultant Location: Brisbane, Australia Working Arrangement: Onsite in Brisbane Central Business District Please note that an initial 2 week training period will need to be carried out onsite in the UK. Main Purpose of the Role The Consultant is responsible for delivering rostering solutions throughout the full project lifecycle, including consultancy, solution design, configuration, implementation, and training. The role also includes supporting pre‑sales and post‑sales activities in collaboration with commercial and account management teams. This position requires close coordination with development teams to ensure proper planning and execution of any customer‑specific development requirements. Working within a delivery team of experienced professionals, the consultant will use proven implementation expertise to manage and align project delivery, liaising with customers, internal staff, and third‑party suppliers. Close collaboration with account and delivery leadership teams is essential. You must have experience of implementing/integrating Workforce Management Systems (WFM Systems) or similar. Bonus points if you have done this in a government or emergency services organisation Key Responsibilities Support the management of customer projects as required Provide regular progress and utilisation updates to the managing consultant Work effectively within multidisciplinary and virtual teams in matrix structures Liaise with and occasionally manage colleagues and third‑party suppliers during project delivery Scope and design application, integration, and reporting solutions for customers Deliver projects using the standard project delivery framework and documentation Load, manipulate, and extract data using MS SQL Server databases Provide customer training and knowledge transfer on delivered solutions Deliver testing and go‑live support Ensure a smooth handover to the customer success team upon project completion Ensure clear understanding of customer requirements and expectations throughout delivery Coordinate with development teams to plan and deliver customer requirements involving custom development Align customer deliveries with established revenue targets Perform any other duties as assigned Person Specification Hands‑on experience implementing rostering or WFM software in a customer‑facing environment Full project lifecycle expertise, including: Process analysis and design Configuration Training and knowledge transfer Testing and go‑live support Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in business language Excellent documentation and presentation abilities Ability to quickly learn and support new applications and technologies Self‑motivated, results‑driven, capable of working independently or as part of a team Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities Effective planning and organisational skills Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure PRINCE2, CAPM, or PMP certification (foundation or full certification) Knowledge of field workforce management solutions Experience with change management or transformational projects Experience with system integrations Strong influencing and negotiation skills Proficiency with MS Visio MS SQL Server or equivalent data manipulation skills MS SSRS or equivalent reporting skills Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Information Technology Industries Technology, Information and Media #J-18808-Ljbffr
