As a Pricing Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in upholding this pillar and ensuring our pricing strategies drive both revenue and customer satisfaction. With a focus on Pricing Optimisation, you’ll be responsible for supporting pricing strategies driving revenue and profitability while meeting our commitment to provide ‘low prices’ to our customers. What You’ll Do: Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies to uphold Officeworks' commitment to low and competitive prices. Optimize margins while ensuring everyday low prices (EDLP), markdowns, promotions, and competitive pricing. Collaborate with the various cross functional stakeholders to align pricing strategies with the company's future direction. Work cross-functionally across Retail and Competitive teams to enact pricing strategies in line with Officeworks' value proposition. Drive margin enhancement projects across all pricing streams. Ensure projects meet business expectations and generate process improvements across the Pricing Team. Set up pricing governance processes and review tools to improve efficiency. Facilitate projects across all pricing streams to improve profitability. About you Are you passionate about driving revenue and profitability while ensuring customers always get the best deals? Detail-oriented and analytical with a background in merchandise, finance or pricing strategy and margin optimisation, you thrive in a collaborative environment and have a proven track record of working cross-functionally to achieve business goals. Your ability to develop and implement effective pricing strategies, coupled with your commitment to maintaining competitive prices, makes you an ideal fit for our team. You are proactive in driving process improvements and have a keen eye for identifying opportunities to enhance profitability. Your excellent communication skills and strategic mindset enable you to align with the company's future direction and contribute to Officeworks' success. Key attributes: Experienced: You have a strong background as a merchandise, finance or pricing analyst, with a focus on revenue and profitability. Innovative: You love developing new ideas and ways of working. Analytical: You excel at using data to manage multiple product categories. Project Leader: You can run projects and provide insights to advance our pricing processes. Tech‑Savvy: You have advanced Excel skills and experience with data visualisation tools (e.g Power BI). Exposure to SAP and BW is an advantage. Communicator: You have outstanding interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
