Recruitment Officer – Victoria University Join to apply for the Recruitment Officer role at Victoria University. About the Role Victoria University (VU) is seeking an eager and detail‑oriented Recruitment Officer to join our People & Culture team. In this role, you will provide efficient and effective recruitment administration support to ensure the attraction and selection of qualified internal and external candidates. You will play a key part in delivering a positive candidate experience and supporting hiring managers throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. This role is being offered on a full‑time fixed‑term basis for a 6‑month period at the classification of HEP Level 5, salary range $76,459 – $87,825 per annum plus 17% superannuation. The university offers hybrid working arrangements and other generous leave entitlements. Key Responsibilities Respond to recruitment queries from internal and external stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Process job requisitions in VU People First, obtain approvals, and post job advertisements. Prepare and issue accurate job offers in line with VU policies. Provide administrative support for recruitment activities, including interview coordination and document preparation. Ensure onboarding tasks are completed promptly and assist new hires with compliance requirements. Maintain and update recruitment content on internal and external webpages. Monitor recruitment processes to ensure compliance with policies, legislation, and diversity and inclusion practices. About You Relevant qualifications and/or experience in HR or recruitment. Strong customer service focus and ability to build effective relationships. Experience using HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
