See yourself in our team The Strategic Relationships team manages wholesale client relationships, upsells, renegotiates contracts, analyzes performance and measures service levels. Senior Contracts and Commercial Manager (SCCM) The SCCM sits within Sales, Trading and Customer Relationships and manages key institutional client relationships. The role negotiates new contracts and renewals, expands business opportunities, builds strategic relationships, and maintains the contract library. What will you be doing Strategic – Identify and develop broad commercial opportunities with existing customers. Retention – Ensure client retention through high engagement and risk identification. Commercial – Conduct financial analysis, lead negotiations, and provide expertise on new opportunities. Profitability – Drive revenue opportunities that deliver long‑term benefits. Influence – Act as the interface between clients and internal stakeholders, advocating for client needs. Risk – Structure and manage relationships in line with AUSIEX risk appetite and contractual protections. Contract Management – Provide support and drafting advice on contractual relationships. Ensure obligations are met. Governance compliance. Productivity – Promote process improvements and eliminate inefficiencies. We’d love to hear from passionate people who have: Tertiary qualifications in business, economics or a related discipline. Strong commercial acumen and proven contract and commercial management experience. Understanding of the Financial Services industry. Knowledge of financial planning, stockbroking, share trading and/or portfolio management (desired). Relationship and client engagement skills. High numeracy and analytical skills. Ability to read and understand complex contracts & SLAs. Professional presentation and communication skills with senior stakeholders. Organizational skills with close attention to detail.
