As Village Manager at Hunters Hill Lodge, you will provide high-quality, resident-focused management for our vibrant retirement community. You will be responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, compliance, and the creation of a dynamic, inclusive environment for both residents and employees. Key Responsibilities Lead service excellence across catering, care, activities and housekeeping, setting high standards and continuously lifting the resident experience Professionally manage all aspects of the Village, ensuring resident security, safety, dignity and overall wellbeing Facilitate social, lifestyle and wellness initiatives that build connection, purpose and enjoyment for residents Promote the philosophy of Community Vitality with residents, employees and visitors, creating a warm, inclusive village culture Foster strong relationships with residents, families, committees and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact Oversee financial performance, asset maintenance and all facilities, ensuring the village is well-presented, safe and sustainable Manage budgets, contracts and village expenditure, driving value for money and commercial discipline Maintain village occupancy through professional enquiry handling, tours and sales follow-up, protecting the village’s reputation and viability Ensure full compliance with all relevant legislation and standards, including Work Health & Safety, the Retirement Villages Act, Property, Stock & Business Agents Act and Strata Schemes Management Act Essential Qualifications & Skills Experience as a retirement village manager, property manager, or similar Aware of the Aged Care industry and regulations Current First Aid Certificate and Driver’s License Proven staff and people management experience Strong leadership, communication, customer service, and negotiation skills Business acumen and analytical skills, including budgeting and financial administration Proficiency in Microsoft Office Change management skills and understanding of legal frameworks and compliance Highly motivated, empathetic, compassionate, honest, and trustworthy Desired Attributes Understanding of real estate marketing and sales processes Experience working with older people Why Join Us?
