Their SAP Business One Practice is dedicated to delivering, training, and supporting SAP B1 solutions alongside bespoke systems developed for their key clients. They operate across a diverse industry group providing their consultants with exposure to a varied and engaging project portfolio. Role Overview They are looking for an experienced SAP Business One Technical Consultant to join on a 6-month+ daily‑rate contract, with the potential to extend. The role focuses on supporting multiple clients across their SAP B1 application and integration landscape, working closely with the Solutions Architect Lead and Functional Consultants to deliver integration design, technical development, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities Deliver technical enhancements, work through backlog items, support end users, and keep SAP B1 and its integrations stable and running at their best. Take a hands‑on role across development, troubleshooting, optimisation, and collaboration with both clients and internal teams to improve system performance and user experience. Contribute to shaping and implementing integration solutions that ensure reliable and secure data exchange between SAP Business One and external applications. Develop and maintain custom integrations, APIs, and middleware workflows using tools such as B1if, DI‑API, Service Layer, .NET, and related platforms. Support the definition of integration approaches, data flows, interface mappings, and technical specifications for new and existing solutions. Provide post‑go‑live support across integration touch‑points to keep connected systems operating consistently. Investigate and resolve integration issues, performance slowdowns, data mismatches, and system errors across multiple environments. Work closely with SMEs, business users, and technical teams during project delivery and BAU to ensure integration requirements are clearly understood and met. Review incidents and recurring patterns to identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimisation within the integration landscape. Translate business needs into actionable technical tasks, integration logic, and configuration steps. Participate in user training sessions, technical walk‑throughs, and knowledge‑transfer activities. Prepare and update technical documentation, including integration diagrams, data flow maps, interface specifications, and support materials. Attend client sites as needed for workshops, troubleshooting, and solution validation. Support operational stability by monitoring integration performance and ensuring interfaces run efficiently across environments. Qualifications 3–5 years of hands‑on SAP Business One technical development and integration experience using B1if, SDK/.NET, APIs, and similar middleware tools. Strong understanding of IT architecture, infrastructure components, and integration environments. Solid practical experience with integration frameworks, including B1if, SDK/.NET, API integrations, and custom add‑on development. Strong background in .NET development and supporting end‑to‑end integration solutions.
