Pacific National is looking for an experienced Investigation & Human Factors Specialist to help strengthen our safety culture, lead high‑quality incident investigations and drive human‑centred improvements across our national operations. What You’ll Do Lead and support investigations into safety incidents and near misses Apply human factors principles to identify behavioural, systemic and environmental contributors Prepare clear, high‑quality investigation reports and practical safety recommendations Facilitate incident review panels, debriefs and organisational learning sessions Partner with operational teams to embed human‑centred safety improvements Analyse safety data to identify trends and emerging risks Travel nationally to operational sites as required to support incident investigations and safety reviews What You’ll Bring Tertiary qualifications in Human Factors, Psychology, Safety Science, Ergonomics or related discipline Formal training and experience conducting complex investigations Strong knowledge of human factors in safety‑critical environments Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills Ability to influence and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams Commitment to safety, ethical conduct and continuous improvement Why join us?
