Technical Sales Representative (Parts Advisor/Interpreter) Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description About us: Daimler Trucks Wagga has an exciting opportunity for a proactive Parts Advisor to join our growing Parts Team. If you are passionate about the transport industry and looking to make a meaningful impact, join us You’ll be the key link between our customers and our parts team — interpreting, sourcing, and selling genuine truck and trailer parts while providing exceptional service at the counter, over the phone, and via email. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role where your technical knowledge, attention to detail, selling skills, and teamwork will shine. About you Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter / Advisor / Technical Sales Professional, preferably in the truck or automotive industry. Excellent communication and customer service skills with a team‑oriented approach. Strong attention to detail and a proactive “make it happen” attitude. Good administration and computer skills (Auto IT experience is an advantage). Current Driver’s Licence (Forklift Licence desirable). A team player mindset — reliable, adaptable, and eager to grow. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Focus on performance, safety and continuous improvement. Tasks & responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to customers — accurately interpreting and recommending truck and trailer parts. Process phone, counter, and email enquiries efficiently and professionally. Prepare sales invoices, purchase orders, and quotes in a timely manner. Source and sell parts to retail, trade, and internal customers. Monitor inventory levels, assist with stock‑takes, and help reduce obsolete stock. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through follow‑up and reliability. Contribute to continuous improvement and support a positive team culture.
