Security System Technical Support (Alarm, CCTV & Access Control) Global Zone Security is a leading integrator of IP Video Alarm and Access Control systems, servicing all of Australia. We specialise in delivering cutting‑edge physical security solutions for businesses and enterprises. With a strong focus on IP-based technology and Managed Services, we leverage the latest hardware and software to design, integrate, install, and manage bespoke security solutions Are you the go‑to person when things stop working? Love figuring out how things tick and helping others do the same? We're on the lookout for a Security System Technical Support Superstar to join our friendly, fast-growing team. If you enjoy solving technical puzzles and keeping customers happy, you'll fit right in. Key Responsibilities: Provide phone and remote support for security systems (CCTV, alarms, access control, intercoms), troubleshooting issues and offering software and app‑based solutions. Assist our field technicians with system programming, setup, and configuration. Manage service calls, maintain system logs, and ensure timely updates to client. Test new products and work on improving service support processes. Oversee parts ordering and inventory management in our warehouse. Configure routers and 4G services to support system installations. Offer in‑house technical support for staff and field technicians. Manage internal computers & laptops, servers, VPN and active directory. What We're Looking For We value attitude and curiosity, and we are committed to providing comprehensive on‑the‑job training. The ideal candidate will have: Technical Experience At least 2 years of technical support experience, with a strong understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, routers, remote access) Customer Service Focus Clear communication skills, the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and a genuine desire to assist others. Problem Solving Ability Stay calm under pressure and think on your feet. Interest in Security Systems Experience or a strong willingness to learn about security technologies, including CCTV, alarms, and access control systems. Bonus Skills if you have: A security licence (or willingness to obtain one). Experience with security systems, such as ICT Protege, Dahua, Hikvision, Bosch, or Inner Range.
