Randstad is seeking a motivated and skilled Kitchen Assistant for an immediate start on a temporary contract until the end of December 2025. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 3:00pm. Role and Responsibilities As a Kitchen Assistant, you will be crucial to our daily operations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen. Your key duties will include: Handling food orders with accuracy and speed. Assisting with all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating. Assisting with the supervision of volunteers in the kitchen. Maintaining a clean, safe, and highly organized kitchen workstation. Strictly adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards. Key Requirements Current Certificate II in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent). Demonstrated previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment. Excellent customer service skills, paired with a friendly and professional manner. A genuine interest in continual learning, with a proactive approach and the ability to effectively take direction. Mandatory Checks A current Police Check. A current NDIS Worker Check (you may commence employment with a statutory declaration while the NDIS check is in progress).
