Overview O'Briens Montessori Centre – Modbury North SA O’Briens Montessori Centre is a family-owned Montessori childcare seeking enthusiastic and dedicated multi-aged educators to join our team, working across all five of our classrooms. Our centre operates Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 6:00pm and provides a warm, caring, and homelike environment where children are encouraged to reach their full potential. We pride ourselves on fostering a nurturing environment that reflects our children, families, educators, and the wider community. Role We are seeking a part-time Kitchen Assistant to work alongside our Centre Chef. This position is 2 days per week , with rostered working days negotiable. The shift for these days is 8:30am–4:30pm . The Kitchen Assistant is required to be able to cook for the Centre in the absence of the Chef. Responsibilities Support centre kitchen operations and assist the Chef as required Prepare meals and snacks in alignment with centre policies and dietary requirements Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained Role Requirements Current Working with Children Check Current First Aid Certificate (including CPR) RRHAN-EC Mandatory Notification Training Food Safety Certificate Food Safety Supervisor Certificate Previous kitchen experience in a childcare setting Why Join O’Briens Montessori Centre?
