Catering HQ is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional with proven experience in end to end event coordination to join our talented and dedicated team working at Penrith RSL With a newly renovated event space, it is an exciting opportunity to coordinate special functions in this exciting venue THE BRAND Catering HQ is a family run company that was established in 1996. We currently have 15 fabulous venues across Sydney and Melbourne. We believe in striving for excellence at all times and pride ourselves on having an experienced and dedicated team who love their work and their work environment. At Catering HQ we are always looking to adapt to evolving market trends for our restaurants, cafés and events. This allows our menus and décor to be fresh, interesting and inviting to our guests. We are known for delivering high quality meals and exceptional customer service. THE ROLE Your primary responsibility is the execution of high quality, smooth running events which exceed client expectations whilst developing and maintaining these client relationships and to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a timely manner and customer expectations are exceeded. This role also has operational requirements and is a hands on role. RESPONSIBILITIES Build and maintain customer database to leverage repeatable sales opportunities Acquiring and following up on leads including preparing and presenting event proposals Assist with end to end event coordination from sales to set up and delivery of an amazing event Updating venue event packages as required Generating new business opportunities SKILLS & EXPERIENCE A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role which includes event sales Experience with IVVY Sales and Catering (or similar events program) Proven ability to drive sales Exceptional customer service ethic and high expectations for quality. Engaging personal presence with outstanding verbal communication and presentation skills.
