Known for its high-quality products and commitment to continuous improvement, the business supports several household brands in the construction and consumer goods sectors. The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the month‑end process and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Your responsibilities will include: Assisting with month‑end journals, accruals, and reconciliations. Supporting accounts payable and receivable processing and ensuring transactions are recorded accurately. Maintaining the general ledger and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations. Preparing and assisting with BAS, FBT, and GST documentation. Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting activities. Partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure financial data integrity. Contributing to process improvement initiatives and supporting ad‑hoc finance projects. About You 2–4 years’ experience in an Assistant Accountant or similar accounting role (experience within manufacturing or product‑based industries highly regarded). Currently studying or part‑qualified CA/CPA (or intending to start). Proficient in Excel and ERP systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar advantageous). Excellent attention to detail, proactive mindset, and strong problem‑solving skills. Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively within a team environment.
