About our School Tyndale is a preschool to Year 12 co‑educational school located in Blacktown, Sydney. About the role Applications are invited from suitably qualified and committed counsellors to fulfil the part‑time (3 days a week) permanent role of Head School Counsellor. The position will commence at the start of the 2026 school year. Essential Criteria Christian of a Reformed/Evangelical persuasion, who is an active member of a Reformed/Evangelical church Whole‑heartedly subscribe to the School’s Educational Creed Work With Children Check (WWCC) Clearance Has experience working with children and young people in a counselling capacity Has qualifications in counselling or social work and who holds a current professional membership with a relevant professional body (ACA, CCAA, AASW) Enjoys working collaboratively as a team Is passionate and committed to supporting and improving the wellbeing of children and young people Has effective communication and interpersonal skills to enable interaction and communication with students, staff, parents and external services Has excellent organisational and information technology skills.
