The role Our People and Culture Directorate leads the development and delivery of people‑related services and initiatives, driving enhancements to organisational culture and employee wellbeing. As a Business Support Officer, you will report to our Director People and Culture and undertake a wide range of operational human resources tasks, providing both business and administrative support in addition to project management support. Key tasks within this role will include providing proactive, responsive and confidential business and administrative support, proofreading, editing and preparing correspondence, assisting with the research, development and implementation of Human Resource Management projects, systems, policies and procedures. In addition, undertaking financial management tasks including budget monitoring and credit card management, as well as a host of other key duties. While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies (permanent, fixed‑term, full‑time or part‑time) within the department for the next twelve (12) months, from the date that the recruitment breach period has been finalised.
