Anchor Safe Rope Access is an award-winning remedial builder specialising in high-rise facade painting, remedial repair, inspections, restorations and maintenance in multiple locations across QLD, NSW and VIC. Our Rope Access teams are highly skilled and accredited facade specialists as well as trade-certified registered remedial builders, trained to work in challenging locations with confidence and precision. We are looking for a qualified Rope Access Technician to join our team. Responsibilities Consult with clients about surface type and optimal paint options for high-rise buildings and construction sites, and advise on best high-rise painting solutions. Determine amount and type of paint to be used, and material/tools needed, and organise materials within allocated budget. Perform industrial rope access work using rope access skills to complete paint jobs. Prepare surfaces for painting: removing old paint, filling holes and washing surfaces; ensuring surfaces are not exposed to moisture by sealing cracks and corners. Use appropriate tools and materials to prepare surfaces for priming and painting. Paint different surface types, including windowsills, metal roofs, steel structures and beams, and building facades. Apply painting techniques to achieve desired outcomes for clients. Perform restoration, rendering, installation, and maintenance work on building structures as required before painting. Carry out work allocated in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare, remove and clean up paint spills, dust, and other materials from the job site. Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner. Qualifications Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (preferable). Minimum 2 years’ experience as a trade painter and knowledge of the building repair and maintenance industry. Rope Access certified (any level) with minimum 3 years’ experience as a rope access technician. A valid white card. Strong problem‑solving skills to face unexpected challenges that arise. Good communication skills when working with technicians, contractors, suppliers, clients, building managers, engineers, etc. Strong commitment to completing projects on time and within budget. #J-18808-Ljbffr
