Overview JPD Rope Access is a specialised high‑rise and remedial painting company based in Sydney. We deliver premium facade painting and coating services for commercial and residential buildings across the city. Position We are currently seeking a full‑time, qualified, and licensed Rope Access Painter to join our Sydney team. Responsibilities Working closely with the management team to consult with clients on surface conditions, suitable paint systems and the best high‑rise painting solutions for commercial and residential buildings. Assessing job requirements, determining the correct type and quantity of paint, tools, and materials needed and organising supplies within the allocated budget. Performing industrial rope access work and using rope techniques to safely complete painting tasks at height. Preparing surfaces for painting, including removing old paint, washing surfaces, filling cracks and holes, and smoothing uneven areas. Selecting and using the appropriate tools, materials, and methods to prepare surfaces for priming and painting. Preventing moisture exposure by sealing corners, joints, and cracks particularly on high‑rise facades and external building structures. Painting a range of surfaces including windowsills, metal roofs, steel structures, beams and building facades using correct techniques and manufacturer guidelines. Applying different painting methods and finishes to achieve the desired results for clients. Performing restoration, rendering, installation and general maintenance required prior to painting tasks. Completing all allocated work safely, efficiently and in compliance with WHS and company procedures. Cleaning work areas after completion, including removing paint spills, dust and debris to leave the job site in a safe and tidy condition. Accurately completing all required documentation and job reports in a timely manner. Requirements Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. White Card and full working rights.
