After a number of years in R&D, the business is commercialising its technology, signing on customers in Australia, South East Asia, Northern America and Europe. Bodd’s hardware units are manufactured right here in Melbourne with Bosch and associated software has been developed in collaboration with some of Australia's leading academic institutions. About The Role Bodd is entering a defining stage of growth - scaling our advanced 3D body scanning automation technology into major enterprise, defence, aviation, government and healthcare environments across the globe. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Lead who can open doors, shape opportunities, and convert complex customer needs into commercial wins across APAC, Europe, and the Middle East . This is a role for someone who thrives on the ground at trade shows, customer demos, field deployments, presentations, and workshops. As a key member of our commercial team, you will work closely with Marketing, Product, Operations and Customer Success to develop and execute strategies that land lighthouse customers and expand our footprint in multiple regions. You’ll play a major role in shaping the future of Bodd’s global presence and accelerating the adoption of our body-data ecosystem. This is a senior role suited to a curious, energetic commercial hunter who can build relationships, navigate complex organisations, and take our technology into new markets. Responsibilities Drive regional growth across APAC, the Middle East and Europe: Build and convert a high-quality pipeline, secure customers, and lead commercial expansion into new markets and sectors. Represent Bodd on the ground: Lead customer demos, POCs and presentations, and represent Bodd at major trade shows, industry events and partner activations across all regions. Collaborate closely with Marketing: Partner daily to execute on GTM campaigns, generate leads, and shape commercial strategies that accelerate market penetration. Lead end-to-end pursuit and procurement processes: Coordinate cross-functional teams to develop compelling, cohesive proposals and presentations, and lead responses to tenders, RFPs and large-scale procurement requirements across priority sectors. Serve as the voice of the field: Bring market insights, customer needs, competitive intelligence, and regional nuances back to teams to strengthen strategy and product-market fit. Maintain clear reporting and pipeline visibility: Manage CRM accuracy, forecast revenue, document opportunities and ensure alignment across global sales and leadership teams. Applicant Attributes Proven experience in senior business development or enterprise sales roles within health tech, high-growth SaaS or hardware, or advanced technology environments. Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to confidently engage on body scanning technology, data workflows, integrations, and product capabilities. Experience navigating complex enterprise procurement processes. Demonstrated success landing customers and scaling new regions. Strong presentation, solution-design, and stakeholder influencing skills. Comfortable operating across diverse cultures and business environments. Capable of managing long enterprise sales cycles across multiple stakeholders. Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM system, with strong sales hygiene and disciplined pipeline management. Travel Requirements Willingness to travel 70–80% of the time internationally, often on short notice.
