Maintenance Manager - FIFO BNE (10 / 4 Roster) Myndshift Group supports a number of industries including mining, civil construction and heavy engineering. Myndshift Group has been engaged by our client partner to recruit a Maintenance Manager to lead a skilled maintenance team on an open‑cut mining project in regional NSW. This is a FIFO role from Brisbane working a 10 / 4 roster travelling in company time. This leadership role offers career growth with a company known for delivering results for its clients nationally. About the Role As the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee all aspects of mobile plant maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations across the fleet. You will lead the onsite maintenance team which includes 2 Supervisors, 2 Planners and 2 Admin staff, drive preventive maintenance schedules, manage contractors, and ensure optimal asset performance. This is a key leadership position responsible for : Ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Driving plant availability and reliability through best‑practice maintenance. Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of trades and supervisors. Managing breakdown response, preventive maintenance, and planning. Reporting on KPIs, budget performance, and maintenance metrics. What You'll Need : Proven experience as a Maintenance Superintendent on a mine site. Extensive experience working with mobile plant equipment in a mining or contracting environment (e.g. CAT, Hitachi, Komatsu). Relevant trade qualification (Mechanical / Diesel Fitter) or a degree in engineering highly regarded. Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Competence with CMMS systems and maintenance planning tools. A genuine commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
