The Opportunity Our client is a fast growing financial services business specialising in commercial lending and working capital solutions. With a tight knit team and flat structure, this is a place where energy, flexibility and results matter more than red tape. They’re looking for a Collections Manager to take ownership of their collections function. This is a hands‑on leadership position where you’ll manage the end‑to‑end collections process, work closely with senior stakeholders, and help shape debt recovery strategies in a commercial environment. What You’ll Do Lead and manage the collections function across the business Oversee debt recovery processes and ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts Work with internal teams and external stakeholders to manage complex matters Apply commercial judgment and legal knowledge to navigate challenging situations Build collections frameworks and drive process improvements as the business scales What You’ll Bring Proven experience in collections management, ideally in commercial or credit environments Legal background or strong understanding of legal processes relating to debt recovery (highly desirable) Commercial mindset with ability to balance recovery outcomes with client relationships Autonomous, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership Adaptable and ready to roll up your sleeves in a high‑growth business What’s On Offer Competitive salary up to $120k + super Genuine career progression – they promote from within Flat structure with direct access to leadership Paid parking 20 days annual leave plus standard entitlements Energetic, supportive team culture Ready to take on a senior collections role in a business that values initiative and results?
