Commercial Manager

Key Responsibilities Lead and close complex commercial negotiations, delivering agreements that meet customer needs while aligning with APA's strategic and financial priorities. Manage key customer accounts to ensure commercial and operational touchpoints support strong, long‑term relationships. Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships and commercial growth opportunities, including new services and pricing models. Provide commercial leadership on growth projects, new asset builds and acquisitions, including due diligence, modelling, and deal structuring. Influence regulatory responses and market developments through commercial insight and engagement with government and industry bodies. Partner across BD, Strategy, Finance and Operations to ensure commercial alignment and effective execution within a matrix environment. Ensure all commercial activities comply with governance, risk and regulatory requirements while contributing to the evolution of APA's commercial frameworks. Your background Demonstrated experience in a commercial, business development or corporate development role within energy, infrastructure, utilities or other complex sectors. Strong commercial judgement with a track record of leading and closing high‑value, multi‑party negotiations. Deep understanding of customer relationship management and key account frameworks. Strong understanding of commercial governance, contractual risk and regulatory considerations. High‑level financial and analytical capability, including an ability to turn data into commercial insights. Experience shaping commercial input for asset builds, acquisitions or growth projects. Proven ability to manage internal stakeholders, align diverse priorities to shared goals, and influence outcomes in a complex matrix environment. Excellent stakeholder and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
