As a HR Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the workforce that powers this mission. About the role We are looking for a proactive, people-focused HR professional to join the People team. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across the agency to build capability, strengthen culture, and deliver high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You’ll act as a trusted advisor providing clear, practical HR guidance, supporting leaders through complex people matters, and helping maintain an engaged, high-performing workforce. What you’ll do Provide timely, accurate HR advice on performance, development, WHS, conflict resolution, policies, remuneration and more. Coach and support people leaders to effectively manage and develop their teams. Build strong relationships and engage with leaders to anticipate workforce needs and opportunities. Support HR operations, including onboarding/offboarding, employee records, remuneration changes and policy interpretation. Coordinate learning and development initiatives and support WHS committees and workforce volunteers. Contribute to key workforce projects such as remuneration frameworks, recruitment improvements, culture initiatives, and workforce data reporting. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in HR advisory, people strategy or HR operations in a fast-paced environment. Strong stakeholder engagement and customer service skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships. Excellent communication skills—clear, confident and able to explain HR concepts simply. Collaborative working style and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment. Qualifications in HR or equivalent experience, with a commitment to continuous learning. This role is paying $130,000 - $150,000 + Super. They are hybrid with 3 days in the Sydney CBD office. Please apply using the link.
