Independent Schools Tasmania (IST) is seeking Expressions of Interest for a dynamic Statewide Literacy Leader to join our team This leadership role, commencing in early 2026, offers an incredible opportunity to provide high-level strategic direction, expert guidance, and system-wide support to elevate literacy outcomes across Tasmania's independent schools. We're looking for a dedicated professional with deep expertise in evidence-informed literacy instruction, the Multi‑Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) framework, and the Australian Curriculum V9. Responsibilities Lead a project to implement IST’s Lifting Literacy Plan. Provide contemporary evidence‑based advice to educators and leaders. Design and deliver impactful professional learning programs. Provide expert feedback and data literacy support to educators and leaders. Participate in cross‑sector collaboration to advance statewide literacy priorities.
