This is for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment until March 2026, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency. Position Profile To deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for palliative patients in the hospital and community environments within the scope of practice of the Registered Clinical Nurse. This is a regional position which may require regional travel and a provision of on call services for patients across the region. To Be Successful You Will Have Eligibility for Registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia. Demonstrated advanced nursing and competence in the provision of patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of delivery of care. Demonstrated advanced skills in planning, coordination and decision making. Demonstrated well-developed team leadership and membership skills, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills. Demonstrates incorporation of quality and risk management within practice. Demonstrated understanding of the Medicines and Poisons ACT 2014, Medicines and Poisons Regulations 2016, and the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law Act 2010. About The Area The Pilbara is WA’s second most northern region, defined by the Indian Ocean to the west and the Northern Territory border to the east. The Kimberley Region lies to its north across the Great Sandy Desert and the Pilbara’s southern reaches border the Midwest and Goldfields regions. The region covers a total area of 507,896sq km (including offshore islands). Most of the inhabitants are in the western third, whereas the eastern third is largely desert with few inhabitants.
