You’ll be working with the business to support new initiatives, strategic projects and to enhance the production environment of business‑critical applications. Within a broad retail portfolio covering store systems, supply chain, warehousing, digital, BI and more, we are seeking an experienced applications manager who can quickly understand the business context and work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team to ensure the applications framework continues to meet the needs of the business, now and into the future. Responsibilities: Lead a team of solutions analysts to work across multiple projects, BAU, providing mentoring for continual development. Develop and implement continual service improvement plans across multiple applications and platforms to ensure they adequately support changing needs. Define and manage project initiatives including scope, approach, facilitation and resource planning. Ensure solutions provided are of a high quality for ongoing support and business fit through appropriate application of testing methodologies. Facilitate change management activities with minimal disruption. Configure and implement solutions across applications for seamless integration. Advise and assist users how to make the best use of application functionality. Support BAU system maintenance to meet both short‑term and long‑term goals. Consult and facilitate open communications with key stakeholders, building strong relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Skills and experience required for the role: Required: Significant knowledge and experience (5+ years) in managing applications, including hands‑on experience in requirements definition and structured systems methodologies Leadership skills with the ability to engage and motivate business analysts. Ability to translate technical concepts to business concepts and vice‑versa. Tertiary degree in IT, business or related discipline. Previous experience in Retail, FMCG, logistics or supply chain environments. Knowledge of Infor M3, CSNX or other similar ERP and WMS solutions. Experience with tools for documenting business requirements and test cases (e.g. Azure DevOps, JIRA). Knowledge, skills and abilities: Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for cross‑team engagement. Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills. Detail‑oriented, ensuring high‑quality documentation and testing. Strong prioritisation, organisational, and time management skills to meet deadlines. Proactive and results‑driven, taking initiative to resolve issues and improve processes.
