Target Business Services Location : 39-41 ANZAC Hwy, Ashford, SA-5035 Salary : $90,000 plus 12% superannuation Our client, DecoRug Holdings Pty Ltd., is Australia’s multi-award-winning retailer in floor coverings, providing the best products and service with operations in all states of Australia. Our clients’ network of retail showrooms nationally has an extensive range of carpets, floorings cushions and blinds and shutters. The company leads the market with service, product range, systems, quality, innovation and valuable stakeholder relationships. The client is looking to fill a full-time position for a skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to contribute to the growth of its customer base and champion DecoRug brand, products, and services across South Australia. As a Business Development Manager, you will grow the DecoRug business and brand awareness in South Australia by sourcing and securing new B2B clients and managing relationships with existing clients. You will need to develop a deep understanding of product offerings and use this to deliver value to potential clients. You’ll also be responsible for increasing revenue, developing long‑term commercial partnerships, and executing targeted sales and marketing strategies to make your mark in a successful, growing business. Minimum Requirements Relevant bachelor’s degree or higher qualification with at least 2 years’ experience in similar role. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification What you will be responsible for Develop and promote DecoRug Business in South Australia including its products and services via various channels both internally and externally Identify new sales opportunities and pro‑actively contributing to business growth Demonstrate knowledge of competitor activities, strategies, pricing, & local market characteristics through various reporting mechanisms Develop and manage relationships with industry partners and customers through networking events Develop and execute sales strategies and customer plans to grow revenue across the business Schedule and attend to worksites, architects & builders (commercial or residential premises) to conduct Pre‑Installation Worksite Check & Scope for Flooring, Carpet and Window Furnishings to ensure the scope meets the customer’s requirements, quality workmanship and to promote the Company and its products to the customers. Meet with different stores staff and attend meetings to train and promote the products and services internally to store staff Build strong working relationships with all installation crews as well as for the recruitment and induction of new Installers and crews in order to build and promote the organisations products and services. Work closely with the internal sales team to tender and quote on projects Skills, experience and attributes Experience of implementing customer service objectives, processes and measurement Knowledge of building products or associated interior products Ability to plan and implement sales strategies Ability to work cohesively with various decision makers Effective negotiation and problem‑solving skills Business development experience Client relationship management experience Please note only short‑listed candidates will be contacted and your application will be treated as strictly confidential.
