About the Company Our client is a specialist in providing contract or on-hire staffing solutions across various sectors, including healthcare, industrial, horticulture, construction, transport logistics and mining. They are looking for immediate support within their finance team due to an increased workload. About the Role This position is a full time 3-month contract role (with opportunity to be made permanent) based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne and have a flexible working model (3 Days a week in the office). Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end weekly payroll for a network of franchisees, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery. Resolve payroll queries with franchise owners and handle PAYG, super, payroll tax, GST and WorkCover lodgements. Support AR/AP functions by reconciling payroll with billing, checking invoices against contract terms and addressing payment or receipting queries. Maintain strong record‑keeping across payroll, invoicing and supplier payments, streamlining processes. About you 2-3 years’ payroll experience with solid ERP exposure and knowledge of modern awards. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and curiosity to investigate problems. Excellent written and verbal communication and ability to juggle deadlines in a busy environment. Experience supporting AP and AR processes, especially around reconciliations and invoice checks. Comfortable working as part of a close team with intermediate skills in Word and Excel.
