Are you an experienced Accounts & Payroll Officer looking to take full ownership of a finance function within a reputable and well-known brand? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team in a business experiencing stable growth. Initially offered as a temporary role, this position has a strong view to become permanent for the right person who demonstrates capability, initiative, and alignment with the company's values. About the Role Reporting directly to the CEO, you will manage all aspects of the finance function in a standalone capacity. This role offers autonomy, accountability, and variety across both accounts and payroll responsibilities. Key responsibilities include: Managing end-to-end accounts payable Preparing and lodging BAS, payroll tax, and superannuation Processing payroll for a small team Managing bank reconciliations and financial reporting Supporting month-end processes and cash flow management Identifying and implementing process improvements Ensuring compliance with accounting and legislative requirements About You You will bring solid accounting and payroll experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You'll be proactive, organised, and confident managing your own workload. To be successful, you'll need: Proven experience in accounts, payroll, and bookkeeping Proficiency in Xero Experience using Employment Hero and Salesforce (advantageous) Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll tax, and compliance reporting Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Experience within the construction or manufacturing industries If you're ready to take ownership of a diverse finance role with the opportunity to make a real impact, apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr
