About the Role Are you passionate about designing and implementing robust, scalable data solutions in a dynamic environment? We are seeking an innovative Senior Data Engineer to join our data team. You'll develop scalable data ingestion pipelines for property data assets, establishing them as authoritative sources for property-related decisions across multiple products and business units. You will help build reliable, insightful data solutions that fuel product innovation and drive business growth, including automated workflows with agentic AI solutions. Why Join Us Flexible hybrid working Mentoring and leadership programs with access to Learning & Development tools Parental leave and support for working parents Regular social events including Innovation Days Responsibilities Lead the design and architecture of innovative data solutions that enhance the property ecosystem across Domain Group Collaborate with data architects, platform engineers, and data consumers to define technical requirements and integrate robust data solutions Develop scalable data ingestion pipelines and data models; build data warehousing / data lake / lakehouse components Establish data quality frameworks and contribute to data governance from an engineering perspective Optimize performance, reliability, and cost of data storage, retrieval, and processing at scale Mentor junior and mid-level Data Engineers and lead adoption of best practices Identify opportunities to automate data engineering processes and improve tooling Work across the Domain Group to deliver value and enable insights What we're looking for Demonstrated experience in leading the design, architecture, and end-to-end implementation of complex, high-performance, scalable data pipelines and infrastructure Strong data modeling expertise and experience with data warehousing and data lake / lakehouse solutions Experience implementing data quality frameworks and contributing to data governance from an engineering perspective Proven ability to optimize data storage, retrieval, and processing systems at scale for performance, reliability, and cost Technical leadership, mentorship for junior engineers, and collaboration with cross-functional teams Ability to automate data engineering processes and enhance tooling for efficiency and reliability Experience collaborating with data architects, platform engineers, and data consumers to define requirements and integrate robust solutions Our Essentials 4+ years of experience as a Senior Data Engineer in commercial / business environments Expert SQL with advanced data modeling, query optimization, and data warehousing concepts Hands‑on experience with modern cloud data platforms (Snowflake or BigQuery) Experience with data orchestration and transformation tools (Airflow, DBT) Proficient in Python for data applications and automation Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS preferred; GCP / Azure valued) Version control (Git) and CI / CD for data engineering Excellent communication and technical leadership with ability to mentor engineers Nice to Have Knowledge of the real estate industry data challenges Experience with streaming data and real‑time processing Infrastructure as Code (CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform) knowledge Experience with ETL tools (SSIS, Fivetran, Stitch, Talend, Airbyte, Matillion) Hands‑on cloud experience (AWS preferred or GCP / Azure) Strong problem‑solving skills for performance and scalability Strong collaboration across cross‑functional teams Experience with AI‑enabled automation workflows What's Next?
