Report to Nick Isaacs, Head of Australia. Job Purpose Assistant Director in the ANZ Business Development team, based in Sydney. The role supports continued growth through new business acquisition (75%) and account management (25%). Target‑driven individual with a strong background in financial services – Investment Banking, Private Markets or Asset Management – in a client‑facing role from a leading organisation. Key Responsibilities Run high quality enterprise sales cycles, including identifying and initiating new sales opportunities and leveraging existing client relationships. Qualify and generate demand at client prospects, creating compelling value propositions mapped to client business needs. Negotiate and close complex agreements, owning quota for new client accounts and high‑value services. Manage existing accounts ensuring satisfaction, cross‑selling other Acuity verticals. Negotiate with front‑office COOs/CXOs to build broad vision of outsourcing and associated benefits. Ensure complete client coverage by coordinating support from subject‑matter specialists and marketing teams. Provide accurate forecasts and pipeline information to management. Meet revenue targets while creating new and enhanced customer relationships. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) from a leading university. 5–7 years’ experience in front‑office key product or sector teams in Investment Banking or Research firms, in a client‑facing position. Experience with: Corporate Finance, M&A, ECM, DCM Investment Research (equity, credit, quants) Private Equity and Asset Management Lending Services Compliance Data science, marketing, and other services Ability to source, identify and develop new business opportunities; sell on a needs/solutions approach; engage senior business users (COOs, CIOs, CCOs, CROs, procurement managers). Strong presentation, negotiation and client relationship‑management skills; creative problem‑solving; multitasking and meeting short deadlines.
