We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our leadership team and play a key role in maintaining the high standards our guests know and love. As Duty Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations across bar, restaurant and function areas, ensuring smooth service and a positive team culture. You’ll support and lead staff during busy shifts, manage compliance and cash handling and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations across bar, bistro and function spaces Lead, train and inspire a team of passionate hospitality professionals Manage rosters, budgets and operational requirements in line with business needs Support onboarding and ongoing training of staff Deliver warm, memorable customer experiences Manage bookings, events and functions Handle customer feedback with professionalism and care Ensure compliance with RSA, OH&S and licensing standards Oversee stock control, ordering and supplier coordination Who Are You Minimum 3 years’ experience in a management or senior supervisory role Proven leadership and team management skills Passion for craft beer, great food and outstanding service Current RSA and strong knowledge of compliance requirements Calm, proactive and hands‑on approach under pressure Excellent communication, organisation and problem‑solving skills Professional presentation and a commitment to exceptional hospitality The Laundy Story Four generations, countless beers poured, and a legacy built on good old‑fashioned hospitality.
