Australian Citizens With NV1 Clearance residing in Australia only respond Contract start 21 September 2023 to 12 months, 2 x 12 months extensions. The Information Management and Technology Division (IMD) within the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), has a requirement for a motivated and experienced Salesforce Security Architect to join DFATs Salesforce Delivery team. This work will include the provision of Security assurance for DFATs Salesforce project vendor and Salesforce applications in sustainment. DFAT currently utilises the SFIA global skills and competency framework to provide a common standard for describing base role requirements and level classifications. Only candidates that meet the specified relevant Skill Level/s should be put forward for consideration. The applicable SFIA role description/skill level is as follows noting that the role has blended skills requirements as outlined below: Category: Strategy and Architecture Subcategory: Strategy and Planning Skill: Information Security (SCTY) and Information Assurance (INAS) Level: 5 Note: For a full description of the above referenced SFIA skills, please refer to the weblink SFIA full framework view English (sfia-online.org) In addition to the SFIA role description/responsibilities, the successful candidate/s must be able to satisfy the following role specific selection criteria: The Salesforce Security Architect must: be an innovative Salesforce security professional who can assist the department in moving workloads in the Salesforce platform; be able to interpret the impacts of cloud policy changes across Government and determine how these apply to the Departments Salesforce implementation; thrive in a fast-paced environment; manage and identify risks and ensure adoption and adherence to standards; investigate major breaches of security, and recommend appropriate control improvements; ensure architectural principles are applied during design to reduce risk. Drive adoption and adherence to policy, standards and guidelines; provide advice and guidance to ensure adoption of and adherence to information assurance architectures, strategies, policies, standards and guidelines; plan, organise and conduct information assurance and accreditation of complex domains areas, cross-functional areas, and across the supply chain; have 5+ years of Salesforce architecture experience, working with complex security requirements; have experience with Salesforce Shield Platform; have the ability to communicate complex topics to an audience with varying level of Cloud and Salesforce functional and security knowledge; have experience with SPLUNK; hold and maintain minimum NV1 security clearance recognised by DFAT; guide on the development and execution of an innovative Salesforce security strategy; be able to demonstrate innovative compliance approaches in non-traditional IT environments (cloud); have experience with Salesforces Service Cloud and Public Sector Services Cloud; and facilitate the Technical Architecture Governance forum Every application requires to address selection criteria as part of application submission.
