Responsibilities Operate the kitchen in a fast, smooth, efficient and tidy way to meet customer expectations. Measure and weigh ingredients. Prepare and cook food and sauces in accordance with orders, including cooking methods such as poached, roasted, sauté, deep fried, grilled and fried. Prepare and cook sauces and seasoning. Assess and monitor quality of food preparation and food storage and check stock regularly. Operate kitchen equipment including ovens, grills and other cooking equipment. Present and garnish dishes. Follow special dietary requirements as per booking. Demonstrate your cooking techniques and provide advice on improvement of menus, cooking procedures and kitchen management. Adhere to kitchen hygiene and safety standards. Train other kitchen staff if required. Qualifications At least one year of work experience. Excellent English and Chinese communication skills.
