About the Role We’re looking for a hands‑on and proactive Facilities & Maintenance Lead to keep our 4,000 m² facility—comprising a mechanical workshop, wet chemical lab, measurement lab and clean room—safe, organised and running smoothly. You’ll report to the VP of Technology Delivery and lead a small team, including one direct report. Responsibilities Identify and address maintenance needs to keep the facility running smoothly. Continuously improve the facility’s organisation and efficiency. Lead hands‑on facility operations, supervise one direct report (Maintenance Technician) and coordinate with external contractors. Maintain clean room facilities, including exhaust and AC systems. Perform basic mechanical and electrical tasks, escalating to specialists when needed. Support chemical disposal processes and coordinate work with external contractors. Manage and organise goods, spare parts and storage areas. Qualifications Previous experience as a facilities technician, handyman or construction roles. Basic or licensed experience in plumbing, metal work, carpentry or electrical work. Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one). Familiarity with manufacturing floors, labs or clean room environments. Strong sense of ownership and pride in your craft. Strong focus on safety. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Benefits Free office lunch and snacks.
