Centre Director – Early Childhood Education Are you a passionate early childhood leader ready to make an impact? With dedicated space for up to 75 children aged six weeks to six years, our family-owned and operated childcare centre is designed to provide a ‘home away from home’ atmosphere for the children. You’ll be fully supported by our experienced management team and provided with outstanding resources to help you succeed. Responsibilities Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the centre, including administration, health and safety, compliance, and staff development, ensuring the highest standards are met. Ensuring compliance with all legislative requirements, managing staff rosters and ratios, and maintaining strong supervision. Driving occupancy and exceeding targets while delivering exceptional care to families. Driving continuous improvement and quality practice in line with the National Quality Standards (NQS) . Ensuring delivery of a high-quality educational program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) . Building and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, and staff to create a thriving and supportive community. Fostering a culture of growth and development, empowering your team to reach their full potential. What We Are Looking For Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a director or Nominated Supervisor. A proven track record of delivering results in a centre. Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood Education (ACEQA approved). Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis and Child Protection Certificate. Deep understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations , EYLF, NQS and CCS. Responsible and ready with a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate. Experience with Assessment & Rating would be advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Commitment to child safety, inclusive practices, and building a positive centre culture.
