World Wire Cables (Aust) P/L – Oakleigh South VIC World Wire Cables (WWC) is a leading manufacturer and wholesaler of electric cable servicing commercial and industrial markets across Australia. Reporting to the Head of Administration , the Accounts & Administration Assistant is a key member of our close-knit Administration Team. This is a part-time ROLE - DAYS AND HOURS NEGOTIABLE , office-based position , offering long-term stability and the opportunity to support a growing and well-established business. This position is open to Australian citizens only. Key Responsibilities Processing accounts payable and receivable Essential experience in accounts payable and receivable with no training provided. Entering all supplier invoices into SAP Business One Reconciling debtor payments and bank accounts Assisting the CFO with financial reporting, reconciliations, and allocations Producing and sending customer statements and sales reports Following up outstanding customer payments Investigating and resolving supplier issues and assisting with preventative solutions Administration Providing high-level administration support to all branches Maintaining accurate filing systems and documentation Assisting customers with copy invoices and account enquiries Ordering stationery and staff amenities Coordinating travel arrangements for staff as required Participating in training, meetings, conferences, and stocktakes as required Safety, Compliance & Workplace Standards Ensuring all activities comply with legal, OHS, and environmental standards Adhering to AS 4801 and ISO 14001 requirements Ensuring MSDS documents are up to date and employees are aware of chemical risks Supporting correct PPE usage and maintaining workplace housekeeping standards Following SWP, JSA, MHRA, and HCRA procedures Reporting serious incidents or injuries immediately Ensuring purchased items meet Australian Standards Skills & Experience 5 years' experience in a similar accounts/administration role (preferred) Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build strong working relationships Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to achieve efficient outcomes Experience with SAP Business One is an advantage but not essential Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team Company Profit Share Retirement Fund A National Police Check will be required prior to commencement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
