About the Winery Main Ridge Estate is a boutique family winery located in Red Hill,known for elegant wines shaped by volcanic soils and the cool maritime climate. Visitors are welcomed into the historic winery, nestled in a quiet bush valleywith sweeping views from the sundeck. Role Overview This a food and beverage supervisor role, working alongside winemaker, James Sexton and a small team of casual staff. Cellar door tastings and sales, casual lunch service and drinks with snacks are offered between Noon and 5pm Friday to Sunday every week, and during holiday periods. Our customers include tourists, regular holiday-makers, and the local community, seeking tastings and purchases of our renowned wines, a relaxed lunch or 'sundowner' drinks. Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include staff rostering and supervision, guest reservations, greeting guests, front of house service and venue presentation, beverage stock management and related administrative tasks, all supported by Sexton family members. Schedule A minimum of 1 year supervisory or management experience is required for this position. The standard roster for this permanent part-time role would be 7.6 hrs/day, Thursday to Sunday with a small number of extra weekdays over Christmas and New Year. Qualifications The role requires a solid background in high quality hospitality service operations, with strong experience in wine service.
