South East Queensland | Full-Time | Leadership + Project Delivery + Business Development An established and fast‑growing builder from interstate is expanding into Queensland. We are looking for a skillful and well‑connected construction professional to lead the establishment of our Queensland operations. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up – with the backing, systems, and financial strength of a proven business. About the Role You will be the first senior appointment in Queensland, responsible for delivering residential projects (initially custom homes, small‑scale new builds, and refurbishments) while helping shape our market presence. As the business grows, you will progress into leading a full state division, including commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Manage up to three residential projects concurrently, ensuring quality, safety, programme and client satisfaction. Lead site coordination, subcontractor management, procurement and reporting. Build and maintain strong relationships with reliable subcontractors across SEQ. Identify and convert new project opportunities through your existing network and proactive business development efforts. Oversee project administration, forecasting and compliance using our internal systems. Act as the face of the business in Queensland, upholding our values and high performance standards. About You We are seeking someone with genuine capability, strong networks and the drive to build a state division. You will have: Demonstrated experience managing residential construction projects end‑to‑end. Minimum 4–5 years of residential construction project management experience is required. The ability to autonomously run several small projects simultaneously. Strong existing relationships with reputable subcontractors in South East Queensland. A track record of bringing in work or the ability to do so quickly. Demonstrated capability to secure 1–2 projects through business development efforts. QBCC licence suitable for supervising residential construction (Site Supervisor or Builder – Low/Medium Rise, depending on experience). Strong administrative, organisational and software skills. Competence with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards. Proficiency in Procore or similar construction management software. Based in South East Queensland. Highly regarded: Candidates who already have potential projects, confirmed opportunities or active client conversations will be prioritised.
