Your Role Build and lead the R&D Data Stewardship CoE including defining its vision operating model and success metrics to ensure alignment with organizational goals Develop and implement data stewardship frameworks roles and responsibilities across key R&D domains such as clinical regulatory research and safety Collaborate with data owners stewards and domain experts to establish consistent data definitions quality rules and metadata practices across R&D systems Partner with IT data governance and analytics teams to embed data stewardship principles into data platforms workflows and systems across the organization Drive the adoption of data standards ontologies and controlled vocabularies across R&D systems to enhance data consistency accessibility and interoperability Monitor data quality and stewardship KPIs leading continuous improvement initiatives to address gaps in data governance and ensure data integrity Provide training tools and best practices to empower data stewards and support the broader organization in adopting data stewardship practices Champion data stewardship initiatives ensuring that R&D data is maintained and used in compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements Your Experience Bachelors or Masters degree in Life Sciences Data Management Information Science or a related field. 12 years of experience in data stewardship data governance or data management within an R&D or scientific environment. Strong understanding of data lifecycle management metadata management and data quality principles. Experience with data governance tools (e.g. Collibra Informatica Alation) and scientific data systems (e.g. LIMS ELN RIM). Excellent leadership communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence and drive cross-functional teams toward data stewardship best practices.
