Customer Service / Scheduling Consultant - Full Time Amtec Disaster Recovery specialises in assisting homeowners and business owners recovering after disasters such as fire, mould and water damages, etc. Our role is to get homeowners and businesses back on their feet as quickly as possible. We are looking for an experienced scheduler/administrator with a positive ‘Can Do’ attitude to join our Team. We believe the right candidate will have an ability to maintain their composure under pressure, along with considerable experience in Scheduling Technicians and Customer Service. Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service by effectively addressing inbound phone and email enquiries. Manage the entry of new job and inspection requests within SLA's. Log all communications / interactions in the company data base. Facilitate communication among stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned with the latest project developments. Skilfully schedule approximately 30 internal staff members with varying competencies and availability, considering factors such as project requirements and timelines. Coordinate the timely arrival of contractors on-site, ensuring a smooth sequence of activities for project success. Liaising with site contacts to secure bookings. Update scope of works based on scheduling calls, communicating any access information or changes to staff and trades. Adapt and rearrange schedules in response to unexpected absences or high-priority work, ensuring minimal disruptions. Coordinate accommodation arrangements for regional sites within Victoria. Efficiently handle queries and complaints via phone, email and general correspondence and elevate situations as required. Assist with administrative tasks to support the make safe team and the general office operations. Work hours Mon‑Fri 9am – 5pm. Overtime may be required during peak / storm periods. On Call Roster for Emergency Make Safe Claims – Bonus applies. Qualifications Proven experience (2 years minimum) in project scheduling or a related field, with a track record of managing complex schedules and resources. Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written) required. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide outstanding customer service. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in scheduling and record‑keeping. Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, making informed decisions under pressure. Proficiency in scheduling software (e.g., MS Office, project management tools) is essential.
