Vehicle Pre-Delivery Co‑Ordinator & Workshop Road Tester Employment Type: Full-time We are looking for a proactive, detail‑driven individual to join our team as a Vehicle Pre‑Delivery Co‑Ordinator & Workshop Road Tester. This hybrid role plays a key part in ensuring every vehicle leaving our workshop is safe, fully prepared, and presented to the highest standard. About the Role This is a dual position combining pre‑delivery quality control with on‑road mechanical verification. You lead the team that oversees the preparation of vehicles prior to handover, while also performing post‑repair road testing to confirm safety and performance. Key Responsibilities Pre‑Delivery Co‑ordination Oversee the full pre‑delivery process for new customer vehicles Conduct visual and functional quality checks Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled/charged, and properly documented Organise workflow between workshop, valeting, and service teams Maintain accurate records and ensure timely handovers Workshop Road Testing Perform post‑repair road tests to confirm repairs are successful Assess braking, handling, steering, noise/vibration, and overall performance Report findings clearly to technicians and service advisors Ensure every vehicle meets safety, compliance, and quality standards Skills & Experience Excellent driving ability with a clean licence Strong understanding of vehicle mechanics Keen attention to detail and quality Ability to identify abnormal performance, noises, and faults Confident communicator with strong organisational skills A customer‑focused attitude and commitment to safety What We Offer A varied, hands‑on role in a supportive team Opportunities for technical and professional growth Competitive salary and benefits A modern workshop environment with high‑quality equipment Caroline Springs Mazda is a family owned and operated business.
