At Linfox, we offer more than just jobs – we build careers in an environment that values quality over urgency. This role is based on the afternoon shift, 3 pm to 11 pm, Monday to Friday. Responsibilities Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts Performing routine maintenance tasks on trucks and trailers, such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine tune‑ups Testing and adjusting mechanical systems post‑repair to verify proper operation and reliability Using diagnostic tools and computer systems to troubleshoot and test vehicle parts Conducting vehicle inspections and issuing roadworthy certificates or detailed reports Responding to breakdowns with on‑site mechanical support when required Working on new or near‑new trucks and trailers in a well‑equipped workshop Qualifications Mechanical trade qualification and experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals HR/HC licence is desirable but not essential Strong time management and ability to work to schedules Excellent customer service and communication skills A proactive approach and positive attitude Benefits 12 weeks paid parental leave and return‑to‑work bonus for eligible employees Career development opportunities and mentoring programs Access to a range of benefits across dining and adventure, travel, and health and well‑being The chance to work in a high‑performing team where your contributions truly make an impact A less pressurised, more balanced work environment where quality and safety come first How to Apply Please click the apply button to submit your application and resume.
