The Opportunity We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bus Driver – Lifestyle Assistant to join our team across our South East region sites. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring our residents remain connected to their communities, safely transporting them to various destinations while fostering a positive and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities Provide safe and reliable transportation for resident outings Assist residents with boarding and exiting the bus Ensure comfort and safety throughout transit Conduct basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning, and minor troubleshooting Support and facilitate daily activities that promote residents’ independence, wellbeing and cultural values Support & encourage residents within the home to participate in the wellbeing program What you’ll be doing Provide safe transportation to external outings Manage boarding and exiting the bus to and from outings Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transit Basic vehicle maintenance, cleaning and minor troubleshooting Provide the best person-centred care Support daily living that optimises our resident’s independence, health, wellbeing, cultural beliefs and quality of life Things that matter to us Cert IV in Leisure and Lifestyle Current Driver’s License Previous experience driving residents in a 12‑seater Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards NDIS Check (includes Police Check) Proof of eligibility to work in Australia What we offer A dynamic and supportive work environment Opportunities for career growth and development Competitive salary and employee benefits Exclusive TLC Employee Shopping Portal access and receive significant wholesale discounts on everyday items $6 employee meals Program of employee and wellbeing initiatives Employee Assistance Program Ongoing mentoring and development Discounted health insurance Free gym membership TLC Healthcare operate on a direct sourcing model and request agencies to respect no unsolicited contact for vacancies advertised.
