About the Role Based in a vibrant inner‑city location, this 18‑month fixed‑term contract (with strong potential for permanency) offers the opportunity to make a real impact. Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering timely, accurate financial reports, maintaining a reconciled general ledger, and supporting all accounting and finance needs as directed by senior leadership. You’ll collaborate with experienced finance professionals, contribute to process improvements, and gain exposure to complex reporting environments using leading ERP systems. This is a role for someone who thrives on challenge, innovation, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Prepare monthly divisional reports, covering diverse revenue streams and financial activities Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness Maintain and enhance accounting policies and procedures, identifying and recommending improvements Deliver insightful monthly management reports, including variance analysis and performance commentary Assist with budgeting and reforecasting in line with group timetables Ensure compliance with GST, PAYG, and payroll tax obligations through accurate BAS workings Prepare journal entries for all revenue streams Reconcile daily cash flow movements and resolve discrepancies Perform regular bank reconciliations and paperwork reviews Liaise with stakeholders at all levels, supporting a collaborative and high‑performing finance function Skills and Experience Strong technical accounting skills, ideally with experience in large, complex environments Proficiency in large ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Infor) and advanced Excel skills Excellent communication skills and a proactive, deadline‑driven approach Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability in a fast‑paced environment What’s on Offer Opportunity to join a market‑leading organisation with a national presence and a reputation for excellence Exposure to complex reporting and strategic initiatives in a supportive, future‑focused team 18‑month FTC with strong likelihood of permanency and clear pathways for career development Collaborative, innovative, and dynamic culture where your ideas are valued Apply Now Don’t miss your chance to be part of a high‑impact team and shape your career in a progressive environment.
