The Role - Senior Manager, Strategic Relationships As the Senior Manager, Strategic Relationships, you’ll lead a team of Relationship Managers raising $37M annually across corporate and philanthropic supporters. You’ll drive new business acquisition, steward long‑term relationships, and deliver national revenue growth through strategic fundraising leadership. You’ll also manage a small portfolio of high‑value relationships and contribute to the broader strategy as a member of the Transformational Gifts Leadership Team. Responsibilities Lead a national team of five direct reports, fostering a collaborative, values‑driven culture. Drive a significant revenue portfolio across major gifts, corporate partnerships and philanthropic trusts. Implement strategic fundraising and relationship management processes that drive growth and retention. Be accountable for a multi‑million‑dollar expenditure budget, ensuring performance within target. Personally manage a small portfolio of high‑value relationships with major donors and corporate partners. Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to align funding opportunities with organisational priorities. Identify risks, forecast trends, and provide leadership insights to inform strategy and decision‑making. Your Skills And Attributes Demonstrated success leading fundraising, sales or relationship management teams, ideally nationally distributed. Significant experience in managing high‑value major donor, corporate and philanthropic portfolios. Proven ability to create and implement long‑term fundraising or business development strategies. High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and decision‑makers. Deep understanding of sales/fundraising best practice, including pipeline management and stewardship approaches. Excellent analytical, reporting, and project management capabilities.
